It's significance for today lies in its "practical spiritual lessons, applicable to the people of God in any age as they seek to carry on His work. Especially ...in times of spiritual depression and discouragement (//Ezra and Nehemiah, (EBC)//, G. Coleman Luck, p80) We want to divide our study into two parts. The first will move through the book chapter by chapter dealing directly with each one and asking questions to help us understand and make applications. The second part will be more "theological" in nature and will seek to look at the book as a whole, to get a glimpse of Nehemiah's theology and what led him in the direction he took. - [[nehemiah:study01| Nehemiah 1:1-11]] - [[nehemiah:study02| Nehemiah 2:1-10]] - [[nehemiah:study03| Nehemiah 2:11-20]] - [[nehemiah:study04| Nehemiah 3:1-32]] - [[nehemiah:study05| Nehemiah 4:1-23]] - [[nehemiah:study06| Nehemiah 5:1-19]] - [[nehemiah:study07| Nehemiah 6:1-19]] - [[nehemiah:study08| Nehemiah 7:1-73]] - [[nehemiah:study09| Nehemiah 8:1-18]] - [[nehemiah:study10| Nehemiah 9:1-37]] - [[nehemiah:study11| Nehemiah 9:38-10:39]] - [[nehemiah:study12| Nehemiah 11:1-12:26]] - [[nehemiah:study13| Nehemiah 12:27-47]] - [[nehemiah:study14| Nehemiah 13:1-30]]\\ **Overall Look at the Theology of Nehemiah** - [[nehemiah:study15| Who Is God? -- "God of Heaven"]] - [[nehemiah:study16| Who Is God? -- "God of History"]] - [[nehemiah:study17| Who Is God? -- "God to Be Honored"]] - [[nehemiah:study18| Who Is God? -- "God's House"]] - [[nehemiah:study19| What Does God Expect of His People? -- Relationship with God]] - [[nehemiah:study20| What Does God Expect of His People? -- Obedience to God]] - [[nehemiah:study21| What Does God Expect of His People? -- Knowledge of God]]
